Memory Cell Broken Again

This recent patch of the infinite power loop has broken mem cells.

Now if you use both A & B Outputs you can only have a total of 14 components or it short circuits. For example: 7:7, 10:4 (Components)

This has ruined so many circuits such as arcade games, flip flops, etc.

Looking at your circuit, it probably should not have worked previously.

Might have been bugged previously.

Unless something has changed, "Max depth" is 15 items after "root power", your circuit appears to go beyond that.

Huh? This is a standard flip flop used by hundreds…

It certainly worked exactly as it should before this power loop patch.

Not only that, try making a casino or arcade game now that this patch is in place.

It's possible that something has changed since I went deep into big circuits but that is how the limit used to work.

Looks like I was mistaken on the number, it's 16 not 15 but even with it being 16, I think your final turret would be item 17.

I did find a 2026 video discussing short circuit/max depth. I'll be checking this video out myself to see if something has changed.

BCN were just coming about when I lost interest in big circuits so I can't say for sure how many components one should be able to run.

i just done more testing, it still short circuits even if you only have 6 branches connected to the BCN

7 including the on/off switch

the mem cell is seriously broken 😔

It's possible there is another issue beyond the component limit.

Short circuit and max depth are technically two different issues but only the one warning is given for both.

PC released a patch for the infinite power loop which completely killed memory cell circuits

but has been fixed already
