I have made a 2 story farm base and there is water coming out of the sprinkler on the second floor but the planters are not gaining any water

you need to purify the water then take water from their and put it in the sprinklers

River is fresh water not ocean the same reason certain fish spawn in rivers

Likely cause is planters are overlapping each other. Just pickle them up and replace. If that doesn’t work. Pick up sprinklers and replace. You may need to add sprinklers to wall if this persists
