I still build bases from 2-3 years back. With 0 of todays meta. I like them and thats whats maturs

I was talking to both sides not just you because he may have said that it wasn't meta but you don't need to poke fun at him because he likes a base but all in all no one should have said anything about the base designs because base building in this game is all preference

I always recommend Krub by default because he is one of the best builders on yt. If you took one minute to do some research on BB you’d know I’m not lying. I’m not gonna sit and list heaps of decent YouTubers when Krub has exactly what people want. If someone asks me for some more decent builders, I give them a more diverse list. Also take note most people asking for base designs in here are solo - quad and Krub specifically builds for small groups. If someone were to ask for large group, Krub only really has 1 or 2 that might suit, so I’d recommend someone like Fezil, who has one of the best large group 4x4s rn, Uzzziii’s 5x5 submission for masters is unreal to learn from but he doesn’t have a tutorial for it. So maybe don’t come at me when you don’t know what you’re talking about, making digs for no reason when I’ve genuinely never even heard of you

“Bases don’t have to be meta to be good” again someone who doesn’t know what meta actually means. Think of it like a tier list, S tier is meta and certain building techniques and modules fall under that category, whilst some fall under a “C” tier (for example). Like these super outdated china walls which only provide turret spam, or funnel walls which are easily exploited. Just because you like a base, doesn’t mean it’s good, and just because you’ve lived a while or defended a raid or two doesn’t mean it’s good either. I’m not saying “just build meta bases” I’m saying that some things are so easily changed and implemented it’s practically a waste of time building older bases.
