Raiding block issue

This has been an issue in the game ever since I can remember but when you raid a door the build block doesn't appear until like 100ms after the door is broken allowing people to just spam seal with new doors every time it's broken, lost me countless raids

I see that as no issue if your the raider or defender if your putting forth the resources to seal and defend or to raid shouldn't be a problem either way

"No issue" how about when your entire raid is entirely dependant on who has better ping, and no I'm not talking about defending, it's sitting by the doorway spamming the place door button while the raiders are trying to online like real living breathing human beings😂

I strictly play solo defend solo and raid solo and if you pick a server closest to you the ping won't be as much of a issue

I had 40 ping on the server I was onlining and only enough boom for the 3 doors, I had time to hit 3 headshots but before any of those registered the defender placed a door and keylock canceling out my shots, please tell me you don't think that's fair because in no world is that reasonable, this was a month ago btw

my ping varies between 24 and 59 on a high pop queued server on average

40 is the lowest ping of any server I get on console because I don't like right next to a their data center or whatever

also ping you forget it takes time for the bullets to travel aka the velocity especially at long distances

and you also have to think about bloom being in the game now

Mp5 at like 10 meters just outside the damage range of a satchel that is not in the slightest my fault I was also playing with 2 others who dumped who knows how many bullets into the guy

I'm talking about actual real hit markers, this has nothing to do with the gun it's purely a game instability and needs to be looked into since the entire point of a raid block is to prevent insta sealing like everyone used to do on console

could be a mix between invalids, ping in between players or server delays

raid block doesn't stop doors from being placed on frames it only stops walls half walls and low walls from being placed

That's simply just not true, you would probably find that out if you ever got onlined it stops the placement of any door, high wall, or build

you can still place door frames and double doorframes while the wooden block is present

Because the raid block appears at the bottom middle of the opening, which is untouched by doorframes

On pc rust the raid block stops any replacement of whatever was broken, it shows up on multiple sides of the opening

even though I've only been onlined on console in finished main bases twice in soon to be 5 years i have raided into my own base after logging on mid offline being external tc griefed

that isn't correct been playing pc rust since 2013 and that has never been the case

was just on pc rust yesterday

My YouTube wrapped is literally 1.5k hours every year of purely rust pc content, therefor I would be seeing much more onlines than you would actually playing

my goal wasn't to disprove anything my goal was to relay accurate information as you seemed to not understand the difference in raid block which was the entire topic

Ping is king as they say. What you see, your enemies see and the reply from the server is all shown on screen. You see raid block they don't. Nothing much you can do. (Kinda like trading kills on cod)

Unrelated, only for sheet metal doors the raid block is delayed that is simply the only thing I'm wanting devs to look into, no other destruction has this issue

The gun has nothing to do with the time taken for the raid block to show up my only reason for stating gunplay was simply for time reference (as I said before)
