If you are going to change recoil please match it to pc. The video on the left is what I tested in ptb and the video on the right is from a yt video I found showing the new recoil on pc. If I’m right in saying the pc video the recoil is two and one half walls high and my video is three walls high so we’ve got a half wall high difference which is incredibly more difficult to actually control the recoil on controller.

The right side looks to be normal wall, no halves. But, knowing the spray pattern should show you the direction to push on your analog stick. So holding it down left, should improve your spray. They are still tweaking things, that’s why they’ve given it a month to test on PTB before adding it into the main game.

Yes I get that but what I’m saying is I believe at the moment it seems to be a bit more of a kick compared to pc

Consider frame rates, PC might have better frames so it may look different but could feel the same.

Well this could be many things I could be seeing pc video wrong or the frames are dodgy but hopefully some devs see this and somehow make it more realistic and compare it better

PvE isn’t a bad thing at all, I have spent some time on new gen playing PvE. It’s nice for those of us who can’t sit on the game 24/7.

The best part about this change, is that D11 can tweak it. Even though Rust itself is owned by Facepunch, D11 has the final say for console and what’s best for the community they service.

I have never been a fan of AK, yeah it’s powerful, but I’ve made more plays with an MP5 against AK players.

I do love my aks but I feel like I always save them for potential onlines, raids or heli so I never really get to use them
