I notice that loot doesn’t go into a backpack unless you manually select it and drag it to an open spot of your backpack. Could it be made where if you open your backpack you can continue to quick move loot into the additional storage spaces?

While not "quick move" per say, if you open your backpack and hit square on an item in your main inventory it'll move it to your backpack. Bit quicker than manually moving items.

Yea i know about that but what im talking about is looting crates or a body in high risk situations. I would think it would be really great to be able to open the backpack and press square on an item for it to go to your backpack after your inventory is full.

That does kind of sound like a good idea actually if at all possible for them to implement. even the convenience in general for scrap runs and such.

When opening a backpack and looting a body, when ur inventory fills up everything else should go straight into the backpack. Instead we need to stop looting, go into our inventories, open the backpack up AGAIN, fill it with the loot from our inventory, then get back to looting the body. Not how it should work at all

Like I said, Ser Winter has explained multiple times the reason he can do it is due to a mod he uses.

Ser winters mod doesn't autosort, it transfers loot into his backpack if his inventory is full.

Actually the looting to backpacks on pc is a keybind on pc not a mod mine is left alt for your information I swear they have admins in here that have not got a single clue what their even talking about when it comes to the game this dev team is genuinely embarrassing. Sorry excuse for a dev team

I "think" the way it works on PC is, the backpack being open or closed toggles the destination from the box
