There are some community servers with 2.5 maps though

Ehh depends on what you're looking for. I don't know of any good servers that are full vanilla but there are some good ones for sure

The semi-decent ones are all laggy. All the servers that spawn you in with guns/have those I need wood kits are all dumb. I don't get how they have so many players
