Wouldn't this put wipes for people in Australia like 12 hours behind? And if an update came everyone would get on the first server that wiped unless your saying you want every server to become region locked which is outrageous

Well the times that the servers wipe are all around prime time (time that people get off of work and school).
Therefore I don’t see I big shift in players switching regions since they’re at their jobs and school.

Yes maybe a few people might switch regions but I doubt it will be a noticeable shift.

Becuase as the NA servers wipe let’s say at 7:00 EST, at that time is 8-10AM in the aus therefore most people are at work and school.

It may never happen but it’s the only way to have a fair wipe day for the everyone, while still having the one day buffer day which is Friday

At the end of the day it wouldn’t be that confusing there would just be a list of regions and the wipe time. You wouldn’t need to figure it all out in your head.

Servers wipe for me at 7pm... the game isn't that competitive. A life is more important than rust. Your making the argument that people are leaving their jobs and schools to play rust like it's a game that pays you.

What will happen when a big update comes. Lets say missile silo and cars are being added. You think everyone wouldn't hop on whatever server wipes first to get to experience the update earlier?!

How are they affected if some can get on now, but some have to wait.
They miss out on progression and would stop playing.
