ANy tips to custom builds, i keep seeing designs all over YT and stuff, but i want t0 have a design thats a lil more personal

Best to hop on a build server, pick a footprint that works best for you and your group size and go from there

This is not true bc new builders dont know what is bad and what is good

New builders don’t become good builders just following YouTube base designs, you have to go with the trial and error, design a base, use it, find the weaknesses and develop it from there

Yes but before u do that u gotta learn what is bad and good by watching base designs and implementing the good things inside ur base

Nope more then 50%of the base need the normal basic metas bc there is no other good thing to do there

Exactly it is'nt common sense for new players and yes those are all called meta

Plus you learn more about how this works, why it’s important and how to implement it in future designs through actual trial and error, not just following the latest base design tutorial and never using half the peaks and features of that base because you don’t know how, why or when

Idk, seems stupid to say it’s wrong to do what many builders do to get a decent base design

Half the yt meta stuff isn’t even worth doing on console anyways, and some of it simply doesn’t work at all

Those many builders are all bad builders unfortunately ive changed many by teaching them but those people just dont know whats bad and good and will just ego and say their base is good

With new gen it is, anti siege is a need now, fob covered peeks is a need now, a not so open roof is a need now

The past half year ive just been siege raiding and i win 90% of my raids people will learn this too

Anti siege and fob protection are very much online raid orientated, which is extremely rare, even on new gen

Yea, that’s fair, but like I said, the metas on pc, which most yt base designs and yt tutorials are aimed at are very different from console

It isn’t though, bases on pc tend to be a lot different to those on console, yes you get the “meta” bases but on pc they are used a lot less, because when something becomes meta, people realise it, and figure out how to counter it, which happens a lot faster on pc, I’ve have harder times raiding non meta, 100 hour player built bases than the normal meta funnel wall, mina china, wide gap bases

Metas are predictable, the guy who’s put a shop front in the middle of his base and has a jump up leading to a single camp fire is not
