im just trying to be honest, don't want to hurt your pride or your feelings you'll get better with time, but i recommend focusing on adding more bunkers along with bases with a shooting floor and peaks

depends i strictly play solo and tend to go for bases at minimum of 90 rockets with at minimum 9 bunkers but I tend to try to get my base to be 400 or more rockets

largest base I've ever ran solo on official was 384k frags and 1.9k hqm upkeep split between 7 tcs with industrial automated tcs

only build that large due to groups being afraid to online a solo, 2 wipes ago i literally had to give a group all my boom just to get a online with my own boom otherwise no one would attempt to online only offline

500+ rockets 28 c4 and 450+ explo ammo once they ran out then they put a box out of their own supply in i also supplied them a box of meds 2 boxes of ammo a box of guns only things they had to supply was their own kits

base survived 22 offlines 1 roam raid and 1 online where I supplied the boom

the starter bases upkeep they refuse to online is only 3.8k frags and 69 hqm upkeep

..... why wouldn't I upgrade it to metal and hqm if people are still going to try to offline and tc grief a solos starter base

keep in mind I've only receieved 1 true online on console rust in 4 years since the beta where i didn't have to supply the boom to get the online and I'll online groups and zergs as a solo and win or lose they always without exception return the favor with a offline

my starter base is meant to be made up as a underwater entrance electric furnace base 28 e furnaces even with the base full metal and hqm if I got all the resources farmed it'd only take 3-5 hrs to full metal and hqm my main immediately upon being built

thats 100,800 metal cooked/hour

thats what my starter is, I build what will survive offlines not what will be something easy to raid I'm not going to just let some 20-30 man zerg offline me for cheap their going to have to work for that offline

lol I never build near them they tend to build near me

by time a zerg tends to get started on their main im already half way done with my mains on most wipes

Honest advice watch some small team base builds from easy to understand templates I.E 2x2s and circles, over time as you build these and learn the methods they incorporate for good and defendable easy to upkeep bases you’ll learn a lot about building in general, starting off watching these experienced builders will give you perspectives you might not have otherwise considered before
