I’ve concluded that every one will get the game for free and what is my argument, if you would go to the PlayStation store, you would find any one who owns rust consoles edition (old gen) have pre-ordered the game . That means that you will get the game 👍
That is my conclusion from the ps store situation and nothing is official guys 🙌
But about you trying to upgrade from base to deluxe I got no idea but D11 are trying to make it work
