im trying to learn how to free build is there any helpful tips I normally build 2 by 2s

For 2x2s, best option on the corners is freehands. Just watch a YouTube video on how to do them and you’re set. Try not to build an excessively big roof, use head glitches and don’t spam peaks. Open Cores don’t work too well on a 2x2, but make sure to build a main living area (e.g. 3rd floor) with storage, respawns and if possible some lockers

Ok I normally just build 2 by 2s with regular wide gaps I never try to do an open core

And I think (it’s preference) an airlock on the starter makes the base weak, I don’t use it

No an fh 2x2 is very annoying to use

Bc u cant get much honeycomeb on it then

But only really use freehands on 4x4, 5x5 or something else a bit bigger
