I'm looking on the Xbox store I want to buy delux next gen Rust but I don't see any discount but my brother has discount on his Xbox how do I fix this?

The game does not release until the 19th. What is on the store is pre-orders for people who don't own the game. If you already have a copy of the old-gen game, then the new version will be free at launch.

The new gen is in your library you search up rust then it'll be there and you can pre install it

maybe try restarting your xbox, as long as you own the base version of rust you should be able to upgrade for way cheaper

The code worked for me - as in I now own the base version of rust next gen. But it’s not worked for showing any discounts on the higher versions to upgrade..

Todays announcement just says the code will let you upgrade your game, which it has for me

But yes there’s still no option to upgrade for a discount and todays announcement doesn’t even make mention of whether this will ever be available for disc owners

any shop problems are probably xbox shop related problems. try giving it time.
As the code might just be a problem temporarily. wait a day or two and if it’s still broken i fix will probably be pushed out

The code/store is working, it showed I owned RCE next gen as soon as I redeemed it

As for the discounts for upgrading I really hope this gets resolved..

The Xbox store shows me that I own RCE can upgrade to RCE next gen base game for no cost but that is where the smooth transition ends unfortunately. The Deluxe and Ultimate show full price minus a 10% discount as if I am a new buyer of the game.

Glad we’ve been able to upgrade using the code but still doesn’t resolve the issue of us not being able to upgrade for the promised discount

I wonder if it is the 10% Xbox discount causing the issue? Might be as simple as the store applying the wrong discount for those who own RCE on disk. This would make sense as I would perceive that the system would only apply 1 discount at a time.
As my Xbox account is definitely registering that I own the base game of the current generation of RCE this might be something for the devs to look at.
