In the next up-coming graphics "rework" I feel as the following should be focused or NEEDS to be done. (as well as MORE communication from the development team.)

Rust Console Edition should support 120 FPS, especially on next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X. These systems are more than capable of handling higher frame rates, and many other survival and FPS games have implemented 120Hz modes for smoother gameplay. Rust is a fast-paced, reaction-based game where every millisecond matters, whether you're in a gunfight, dodging an ambush, or building under pressure. A higher frame rate would not only improve responsiveness but also create a more immersive experience by reducing input lag and motion blur. Given the hardware advancements, the developers should prioritize a 120 FPS mode to fully utilize next-gen power and provide players with the best possible performance.

A 120 FPS mode would make Rust smoother, more competitive, and future-proof, keeping players engaged and the game relevant (imo) for years to come.

any game with a ps5 title that i have played supports 120 frames, if its not by default there could be a switch for performance mode/graphics mode

yes people claim that they get above 60 frames, but you have to be in your base looking at the floor to even achieve this, the games fps sucks overall.
