So... To clarify, you are asking why D11 hasn't put out a new version of RCE on a platform that is in itself old and in the process of being replaced which would then cost players money to by the new version. For that version to become obsolete within 12 months because of the new gaming systems (xbox/ps) scheduled to come out in the next 12 months?

If I was D11, I would be looking to release a new/updated version of RCE along with the release of the new gen consoles (which are currently in development) or I would wait patiently for those new gen systems to be released, announce RCE will no longer support XYZ gaming systems on a particular date and then switch over.

The thing is, no one admits to it, but there is a large % of RCE players that use old gen, the game in its current format is designed for old gen, so until console tech improves, changes will be limited.

with this logic, we are going in a repeated circle. “wait for the next generation to release” heaps of people won’t even be interested in buying one. i’m not criticising you in any way, but in my eyes d11 is stuck in a really bad spot, as you said either wait for the next generations to release then move over or make a current gen version; which will get overshadowed by the new generations just like the game is now.

i hope they have a plan but even if they were to make a new generation version now they will still be stuck trying to move it to the generations after, which you claim are in development already. unless there’s not much difference between the ps5 and lets say the ps6
