I need building advice

I have about 60 hours in rust so far and so far my base hasn’t survived a single night. I use the egg base footprint but every day I get on to the death screen and I don’t know what to do. I really enjoy this game the gunplay is very fun in my opinion but it’s annoying having to fully restart every day. Is there any base tutorials that you guys recommend that could help me? Btw I play in a duo

the core bunker doesn’t work on console but the two uptop might help keep Loot safe but it’s really just planning where you live so you can live long enough to get turrets to help you survive longer lol

I recommend making multi bunker bases and a simple egg base would be lucky to survive the night on any server but same can be said for 1x2s 2x2s and standard circle bases

What bunker would you reccomend for the egg base

me personally I'd recommend bunker stacking but some would call it hanging half wall bunkers have that + honeycomb around the base

I would build a normal 2x2 if I were you and just build somewhere less populated don't worry about complex stuff rn either

I already have my base made I’m on a community boosted server so I don’t rlly care about upkeep I have a lot of honeycombing and 3 floors. If I want to incorporate a bunker into this base that’s easy to access and stash loot would I have to build a whole new base or can I build off the already made foundation of my base to make the bunker or would you reccomend building it in the actual building? Sorry for asking so many questions I’m the builder in my group so I’m just trying to learn as much as I can to help my team

Listen what im about to say might seem ridiculous but it has worked for me right. Shotgun traps. Everywhere… im a menace with them.
Turn a corner, shotgun trap
Drop down, shotgun trap
Door, shotgun trap
Honeycomb, shotguntrap
Loot room, shotgun trap
If you want later today i can show you one of my builds. Its a bunkered base meant to be the biggest pain to raid possibly without being impossible to build.

Yea that sounds amazing lol I would have auto turrets already but I suck at the electricity thing I wanna see that bunker base of yours though i already have one shotgun trap but when I get back on later today I’m going to fill my base with them

given i had crow harass me awhile back as well as others when people asked me for my opinion on his humbug told the one asking the question that I thought it was good for onlines bad for offlines and that it was cheap to raid immediately started getting harassed within 5 minutes

him harassing others is the main reason he's not in the discord anymore

ig i only use my own builds but alot of people tend to ask me my opinion on other builds

I still remember when he tried claiming that he knew better than anyone else on how to build just because he had more followers within the discord

Crow is a savage when one’s builds are terrible & the builder is arrogant but he’s a really chill guy and has helped a lot of console players.
