I think and many others think that old gen is holding back the game. I believe you guys should start working on a new gen version of the game and primarily focus on it. You guys would most likely gain more players than you lose. Then you could add bigger updates and get the game to be more like pc rust.

Rust now seems unplayable on PS4 many people that play on my server crash when they see smoke granades go off. Or crashing when too many people PVP in the same area. So Rust has been moving along its just now people with old gen seem to be suffering. But all honesty its time these people got the new gen.

I really don’t like when mods say wait for the next gen version. That’s in 3 years when a new console will come out. If you don’t optimize you’re gambling at how long your community will handle the lack of new things as well as average performance (assuming you fix the poor performance now)

I feel like if nothing gets fixed and nothing new happens you’ll find a lot of people leave the game

I mean then they should in fact DIRECTLY announce that, the developers give 0 communication and we've not even gotten a roadmap for the future of 2025 and it's almost the beginning of February.

And yes they should push for it, it's something so heavily desired by everyone they should atleast BEGIN TO attempt to find workarounds... and actually begin to communicate with the community.

And they've not stated it'll break the game, they've stated it'll make them less profit, and they'll have to hire more developers and it'll split the player base up more (I know one person out of my entire 7k hours on RCE that plays old gen.) literally barely anyone uses old gen.

Build skins are also being pushed for and we've got 0 information on that to go from which would inherently make the developers so much money as building is a HUGE part of the game.

rust console is genuinely the worst game in terms of graphics that exists on xbox or playstation, games from 10 years ago beat it in graphics. and you need to pay over 50 dollars to play the game. they at least owe us one decent update

Series s run about 250 used I'd like to know where you found them for 100. I've looked. Want3d ro getbone for a friend. I'm on a limited budget as I've been medically retired since 2003. Not everyone can afford 500 plus bucks for a new console. Especially these days with everything going up financially except your paycheck. Example....my rent doubled last year. There went any extra I had. So ya see, not everyone can afford to run out and buy a new console
