Anyone see the mobile rust?

Yo, is it just me or is mobile rust looking way better than RCE, the map is almost the same size as ours they have trains heli’s and oil rig off release. Also why do the graphics look better? I’m not trying to hate on RCE but also we’re on a console and they’re on their phone. There’s no shot their phone is stronger than our consoles so how is it that rust mobile looks way better and has more content with a map about the same size considering that it’s a weaker device.

This time y’all can’t use the excuse, RCE is a small company and a smaller game when rust mobile exists, and will outpace RCE in the near future

Rust mobile is made by tensent, compared to that conglomerate every game company is small, and imo rust mobile looks like mashed potato that’s been chewed up and spat out.

RCE only came out <t:1621209600:R>. A new version of the game would have a lot of hurdles:

• Splits developers across both builds
• Splits the player-base
• Doubles dev time and cost
  Don't expect a current-gen version any time soon if ever.

It’s an old gen title, making a build that doesn’t run on old gen would involve a new release on the platform stores, recertification and such. Putting aside the massive amount of money and work hours that would cost, old gen players would be left behind. They make up a lot more of the playerbase than many want to believe.

in the future do you think RCE will drop old gen when the game has become more advanced?

Or will they continue to optimize the game for both old gen and new gen

bc as of currently I'm still old gen and last wipe I played i had crashed 2 times every hour playing a 70 pop server

that’s the point of the new gen players the majority of old gen players can’t even run the game not cos of the new additions but because of bases when i used to play in a 15 man one of my irls couldn’t even come close to our base without unbearable frame issues or crashing

It depends on everyone’s definition of running rust. The devs apparently are can they load the game and load into a server. Then yes they can run rust. If you asked me I don’t think rust can run right now for a significant amount of time on old gen currently.

As someone who has played RCE since the open beta, I personally believe the older graphics were better. Do they plan on ever Either updating the current graphics, or mabye reverting them?
