Watch popular rust YouTubers to get a better understanding. Never make a key for your key lock… EVER. Build close to safe zones but try not to build in a high activity area. Also understand when watching pc YouTubers some stuff isn’t in console. Never trust another player ever they will betray you and take your stuff. Don’t be afraid. Fear only leads to procrastination

Just don’t have fear to lose your things, this game is about dying and learning, I have seen people just stay in their bases cause they are scared of getting killed and lose their kits so don’t do that
