Ps4 exclusive servers

I think that a few PS4 exclusive servers would fix the complaints about old gen players and would also make them play in even field with their console gen.
As for why not new gen exclusive servers I'd argue that ps5 play on par with other players while PS4 are in a significant disadvantage due to performance so having new gen servers would lead to old gen players to still compete with new gen making it effectively pointless in the first place

I never said for them to fix the lag or FPS drop just make PS4 exclusive servers so people can play with other people that have said issues

As rust is a ps4 and xbox one game and is playable via backwards compatibility

Plus they can't add anything that separates the platforms

That's untrue the game read what console you're running it at. An easy argument for it would be how graphics are locked on PS4 and not on ps5 and it would force a separation but give players the option to choose

As for rust being a PS4 game anyone that's been playing long enough knows that PS4 can't handle the game nowadays

There are no separate server's

If you are ps5 you are still playing a ps4 game but you have better hardware so it loads and renders faster

You guys consider third party devices unfair yet PS4 players being forced to play against ps5 players which they have in EVERY SENSE an advantage over them on a game that's supposedly a "PS4 game" yet was optimized for ps5 and PS4 players can barely move without FPS drops. Chunky graphics and graphical bugs like watching through walls

You play the same game I do, but I have a system with better hardware so my game renders faster. Thats it.
My FPS is capped at 60 just like yours as well since this is a PS4 game and all PS4 games are capped for PS
XBox players are the only ones that have a slight advantage with higher FPS but again thats only because they are using better hardware
