How to fight against duos as solo

Just gotten into rust again after 2 years of not playing, been doing solo for this new wipe and I encountered so many duo's which killed me everytime. What kind of mindset or weapons should I have? I feel like I'm too overwhelmed and I can't focus on who to kill, btw I'm practically prim thanks to duos killing me so often

I always run around to make them waste ammo, then start attacking them

it doesnt work 100% of the time but it does do decent

I usually push one of them and get them really low, it's the 2nd one that creeps up on me or it's I'm killing animals for animal fat and they pop up every single time

If you can set up a wooden barricade behind you while you push one to provide cover that might help

I keep my X and Y both at 80%, they're mainly based on preference though

Digital boost
X&Y sens
Ads sens
1x sens
4x sens
Bow sens
Sprint sens

U say its a health problem so i might reccamend getting food items that gove instant health like berries from water treatment or something like that. But you can always play more passive and work on longer distance fighting. As for them sneaking up on you, i think u will just have to be more aware as a solo if u arnt aware of everything people sneaking up on you will always be a problem and there ain’t much you can do.

If you have a problem where u run out of ammo a lot i would suggest carrying around 2 crossy and nailgun or 1 crossy 2 nailgun. Or if u aint using a combo like that while prim locked start carrying around crossy and nailgun or some other type of fast shooting thing like a pistol of some sort.

Then theres always the people who will just say dont miss shots to kill people quicker so they cant shoot at you as much which is also a kinda valid argument.

Put yourself in a position where it's 2 1v1s rather than 1 1v2

Gotcha it's just yesterday I wanted low grade and went for animals but istg I see a duo or solo everytime, I hear their footsteps so I get startled and look all over the place but I guess I play too open aswell

You have to full kill one from a distance then win 1v1

Or just play smart positions always roam with some type of cover win a quick 1v1 then another 1v1 it’s all about isolating one then killing another or just try to kill both with one mag
