solo tips?

I know how to progress in servers but i’m so terrified being solo, idk why i just can’t do it alone in fear of there being more i just sit in base if i do even set down one.
Anything to help conquer this?

I recommend building in the snow make bases that have multiple bunkers and can survive a minimum of 90 rockets preferably more have anti grief externals once done setup turrets if enough power leftover setup tesla coils either on heartbeat sensors or switches and have a automated sprinkler system within the compound to force raiders to use wetsuits or hazmats

in terms of helping with onlines or offlines this will help drastically

Just go for it and play smart but safe. Be confident in yourself but know your limits as a solo I've been playing solo trying to improve as I get rolled when I play duo and trio because I'm over aggressive and constantly get caught off guard because numbers make me cocky but while solo I find myself thinking about positioning, if there's more than one, what gear do they have? Could I win this fight? Ect

I just farm bot until I can’t no more. I always hide my base in the snow so people don’t see it

true to a point people try saying I only farm yet I farm pvp and online raid as a solo I do offline those I've hit before that's despawned though

I'm generally on 3 hrs a day although been on more as of late but normally I farm for 1 hr to 90 minutes 30 minutes running monuments taking brad heli etc then a hour roaming looking for pvp given when I'm looking for pvp is when I never find it its always when I'm trying to do something else

I also recommend farming till you always have 1 extra day worth of upkeep regardless of how cheap or expensive your base is that way if xbox or Sony servers ever go down or if you can't get on you'll still have a base if your not raided

if you have many neighbors and your worried about getting doorcamped I recommend rushing to get a compound down or to get shotgun traps and have all doors on timers

if your wanting a easier time progressing I recommend farming to get a diving kit farm the ocean for a free pump shotgun and the npc at fishing village recycle all comps buy a jackhammer unless you got a free one farm 3k stone trade all in for wood then use remaining scrap to buy metal frags you now have everything for a small full metal starter within 30 minutes

you need door controllers and the timer electrical components

to pair a door to the door controller you must have the door unlocked once paired you can lock it back

okay, and also what’s the easiest ways of getting many guns and bullets when you just join a server

like I said before farming the ocean early game to get a pump shotgun from fishing village then go to oil or cargo with it if you need more ammo farm 1 node of stone buy about 30 scrap of smoke grenades from outpost recycle them and craft some handmade shells

I tend to go for bunker stacking which is a method I've been using since early 2015 to late 2014 on pc
