Let be honest the game will never die as the skin store will provide the income and then give it another 10years when FACEPUNCH decide to remaster RUST then D11 15years to remaster RCE (that’s my thoughts)

That was a specific option added with an update that sacrifices quality for performance. Rust can’t handle anymore quality loss 
It’s an optional setting that comes with significant down sides for the ps4 pro.

Yes it is true. Depending on the system, old gen ps games are frame locked to 30-60. Rocket league gave special in game settings at a significant cost to quality. You see?

My point is that ps4 games aren’t fully locked at 60 frames bc as long as they use a setting to lower quality for the framerate, a ps4 game can cap at 120

It is Sony that specifically cap, some games have applied and had the cap removed for reasons, it’s why the Xbox Series can run 120 FPS on RCE
