Can we have some dedicated aim assist servers please. Or the option to have aim assist in community servers.

Quite the opposite actually. Friends quit the game because its overcomplicated. It limits the players that could potentially hop on

I mean if I remember right there is or is used to be an option in settings to turn on aim assist, it was always just server disabled for official

Adding it as a community server option seems fine though

Yh they took it out because it was too strong. They should give us the option to use it again on some official severs/customer servers. It would open the game back up to the majority of the casual gamer playerbase.

Limits the player that can enjoy, limits the funds received from the community.. limits the dev numbers ...hence why we are playing 2010 visuals and poor performance overall.

I mean you have people who play pve (Don't ask me why) but I don't see the problem with adding options like this to community servers.

The “comp” is pretty much camping small cobalt and holding a door peak and begging admins for starts

also I feel as if aim assist servers would be kinda awkward, the game is intended to be played without it and a lot of people are used to playing as the game is so aim assist servers would be weird..

Just make it a community only option, give casual players a chance to get into the game so the playerbase grows.

I do believe if they ever added aim assist it would be for just community as an option, some players might not like the idea of using aim assist to those who do wanna use it so bringing it to offical would just cause arguments around it could also lead to players feeling forced to using it.

The games population is very young hence i feel only young people have the time to spend time learning recoil patterns or buying aim devices. Of course there are older players but the 5 i brought to the game (grown men) all quit due to overcomplicated controller recoil. Most enemies I come across are kids below 14. Aim assist would open the game up to the older generations that have the funds to improve the game

you dont need aim assist on a hardcore survival game. you need to work on hitting your shots and fixing your aim thats what you need to do

Even so, it doesn't hurt the game to add the option to community servers that want it. Literally has no negative impact on anyone

I made the suggestion of aim assist servers.
It would allow the player base to be more inclusive to all ages and skill levels = more development funds to improve the game.
The gun mechanics are poor and overcomplicated for console that it's now a niche game to be enjoyed by the few and not the many.
To enjoy rust a lot/most player spent money on devices to enjoy the game. That speaks VOLUMES. So now Rce has a huge skill gap with no counter being offered to legit players. If nothing is done the game will die off much like the amount of YouTubers covering the console game.

we have stuff being added to the game bit by bit I respect the recommendation, im sure they have looked into it before assuming so, due to the aim assist option being there already were just not able to do anything with it just yet, I won’t lie the controls for recoil are difficult to adjust to but it’s meant to be that way for console.
