This is a suggestion that I really hope would get attention. The game is unplayable on old generation consoles. Wow, nobody knew that? If the devs care, they would add an actual optimization mode for lower-end consoles. At the moment, the "very low" graphic setting doesnt bring the game to a playable state, as it still renders terrain and bases and entities from 5-10 grids away. what would revive the game to make it playable for old generation is completely re-optimizing and make it playable again. stop adding content and make the game fair for everyone , some people cant put money aside for a 400$ console. please take this into consideration

and still runs every other triple a titles at 60 fps when optimized correctly, Rainbow6, COD Warzone and others . my point is on very low settings i shouldnt be loading stuff in from 10 grids away

Just need our own servers. No need to kill the idea of developing rust console further.

Owning my own server- trust me we have tried to crash our consoles with render/entity lag.

I’m talking 100,000 bears, wolves, deer all spawned + 40,000 locked crates at launch. And could fly into it and hit lag/20fps but that was it- took about 80% of the spawns to hit for it to finally lag aswell, not to mention being able to fly around faster than heli over and over and never disconnect from the server.

These consoles work well and should be used to their full potential. Old gen needs its own servers 🤷🏼‍♂️ that’s how you get optimization and a “fair” experience for all.

honestly old gen or not if your playing on a modded server and spawning that much in its obvious it'd cause lag
