When are we going to get a QOL update?

Giving us a few random items with the last update was a slap in the face, we need the rest of the electrical system (including all lighting and fireworks) + industrial update + instruments etc.

Makes console worthless to do anything but PvP on, and making the console edition content and community purely more PvP based & in return makes players more toxic.. what gives? Why do we still only have 1/3rd of the items in the actual game “rust”

Let's be honest... D11 has like 2 devs working on the console version. They're just not going to sink much money into the development of it because PC is where their bread and butter is.

You want players to enjoy your game? Add features to your core mechanics (building and destroying) that allows for more possible gameplay styles and will bring variety in content creation- that’s why pc rust and their content/videos are more pleasing other than graphics is just the amount of content actually available within the game.

Restructure the store and add a large amount of kits and items into it available at all times, keep legacy items rare and make their inventory larger, allow item trading and more and they’ll be making 5x as much money to want to support this game, it’s not like the community isn’t here for rust- just dissatisfied with the console edition’s content and the lack of anticheat

Imo, electricity, and industrial etc make rust easier to play so 🤷🏼‍♂️ that’s qol to me

Why does adding something in instantly have to make it buggy?

In assumption that something that comes out will just be broken and not work on release or cause additional issues is a very pessimistic view, considering any game developer strives for 0 issues at/on launch of a new game or update.

along with going after an argument for labeling things that make the game easier and smoother as “qol” when that quite literally is the definition, enjoy whatever your problem is but keep it to yourself g, you’re cooked 🤙🏼

Call it pessimistic all you want and I know the developers strive to make the updates as bug free as possible but I guarantee you there hasn't been a content update in the history of rust that didn't add more bugs

again not entirely what qol means.. yes the literal definition is "quality of life". but that doesn't mean every single update that improves the play quality is "qol". qol updates usually will be smaller & less content rich updates. smth like the industrial system definitely is above just "qol"

That's what I'm saying there hasn't been an update that hasn't added more bugs thinking that an update wont bring more is being optimistic (which isn't bad) but saying that adding the industrial system into the game with the bugs we already have will not make the game "easier and smoother" will do the exact opposite

I like electric furnaces I like drones but I also know and accept the drawbacks of having them

I couldn’t agree more as someone who personally enjoys the building aspect more than anything else in the game I really would like to have more capability’s especially the industrial content
