I'm all for electric furnaces if we can get then without industrial but if we add industrial there will be more downsides than good people will have less reasons to leave their base they can pump all their loot to safety in another base and in some extreme cases people can send loot if you got enough externals across the entire map to another base meaning you never have to travel back to base which is very detrimental to the games future as it'd add to many safety nets for players given the mass amount of safety nets and changes to make the game easier on pc is why nearly all the original playerbase for pc either left rust altogether or came to console

But the thing is with your thing about how it wouldn’t make them want to leave base there is an easy work around just like on pc version when you have a limit on the range just like with electricity and also if the outputs are placed outside they are easily destroyed and therefore would break the whole system entirely meaning they would have to set up again or just not be bothered to and spawn in their other base making it arguably better for people wanting to leave their base and most people only have one base on a server with their team and it would make organising so much easier and making locker kits would be far better as you wouldn’t have to do it manually and after gaining more kits and waiting for it to sort you don’t just sit in base you go and PvP

also your statement about going to pvp instead that's not the case on pc because it's rare for any group since it's addition to pvp without any externals across the map to just pump the loot back to their base so they don't lose it if their on the verge of dying or being followed

Wasting that many materials when you can just spawn in your other base wouldn’t be worth it in the slightest and many small groups and clans wouldn’t spend the time it takes to set it all up and secure them they would rather gain kits and spawn there

I still occasionally get on pc for the updates last official wipe I played a full wipe on was new years games added to many safety nets most I've done between now and then is get on for 1 or 2 days to check updated content and to make tutorials
