well all online games on xbox require xbox live without exception and it's been that way now for almost 20 years

if you don't own xbox live no amount of cleaning is going to let you play a online game

If you dont have live you wont be able to play any multiplayer game unless that game allows you to play on a single player without it. Live lets you play multiplayer games

Gamepass console doesn't include live I don't think so your either need xbl gold or gp ultimate to play online

@true jacinth you either need gamepass ultimate or xbox live gold to play it, gamepass doesn't include the abilty to play online just the gamepass libary

Gamepass will allow you to play the games under gp only without live the other versions of it will allow you to have live to play other games than ones under gp
