Thank you for reporting this, it's been noted down. For now, I would suggest maybe unbanning some people!

Is there a way to access the ban list through commands so we can remove as currently no way we can get on to do this

You can use "banlist" to bring up the list in your GPortal console, and "unban username" to unban people. Remember if they have spaces in their name to do it like "unban "user name""!
