Not necessarily, everything requires optimisation and time, even if the game was Current Gen it would be spec’d to the Series S, the game would still require massive optimisations.

The game will only be held back when it can no longer have anything else added, the more added while it supports Old Gen benefits the games long term future

Adding on to Hefty’s statement, idk if who said it but someone also mentioned how next gen didn’t really exist, there wernt many out so when RCE came out it was basically a current Gen game
