How do people see so well at night and dawn

I’m on ps5 with a 165hz monitor that has its own brightness on 100 and the game is still insanely dark

U can’t fix that problem turn ur shadow down and ur contrast that’s about it

This is weird because certain TV's can make it brighter. I've played rust on PC, Xbox and ps4. Xbox and ps4 I played on multiple different TV's. All consoles I played on I used the best brightness settings. But theres one TV that a friend of mine has, just straight out of the box and plugged in, where you can see super well at night in rust. To the point where it's the same as dusk on any other TV/monitor

I just use my regular TV screen I see just fine outside in the dark I just struggle to move about my base if there's no glow in the dark skins or lighting hooked up

but whenever I'm outside I just use the outlines of the shadows to move around

ik what It's called lol but most people would understand shadows easier
