how to have fun as a solo

I always build at the bottom of cliffs on the shoreline away from any important monuments, or spawn points, so that the only way to find my base is to circle the map in a boat or specifically be looking for hidden bases
And I always build a bunker.

Keep finding a good server for you @willow phoenix if you are doing all that still people roam around boats , walking to find a base to boom, you can believe you are safe Ingame when you are not depends on your luck and how good the players are in that server

How many servers have you been doing that? Because I have found easy loot servers and ain’t that hard to survive on those servers…

I've swapped between about 3 monthly and 3 weekly since starting a few months ago

The low pop I find easier to run monuments and get scrap faster so I have been doing low pop lately

Should I do high pop?

I would recommend you just hopping a server which you like by preferences. Go roam around check for big bases spots , check the bases around if you see more than the half server raided wide open leave….

There is always that zerg farming group that has layers and layers of walls you can check that too

Pop doesn’t matter if you check the server map around for bases, alphas etc

That just takes 10-15 mins in real life

And if I were you do a pop that you like (I like encountering players non stop)

Try to hide your base in dessert areas and forests @willow phoenix

Depends on what forest are you placing your base bruh… you might need more game time experience I feel that’s the case here, others even place their base in roads etc and they survive the day

Maybe, I only have about 100 hours but I've tried building in every biome, I haven't seen a difference between times it takes to get raided and I dont make my base out of metal or anything that would tell others I have loot

The longest I've lasted was in the desert on a dead monthly server in the last week of wipe

As a solo I've never lost a raid defense, and about 85% of the time the raiders dont have the boom to finish an offline. Its all about being offline defended really

There is no base good for offline raid defense, any base is susceptible to an offline raid.

@willow phoenix the game can be taxing on you and frustrate you to beyond belief. The best advise I can give is never give up. You get knocked down, get back up and build back faster and stronger.
