Boat Sound Crashes are caused by FMOD, part of the Sound Engine which is a 3rd Party used by Unity, it’s an extremely difficult thing to just fix which is why D11 have made multiple attempts so far and had little luck in overall fixing but have lessened a lot of issues.
It’s something encountered on Multiple Games as it’s a widely used thing, PC Rust is another example of having issues recently with Minicopters, Mount and Blade on the PS5 has had a severe FMOD Crash in Battles causing it to be basically unplayable if your character gets knocked.
The reason you have to restart your game is because it affectively overloads the entire sound output which is how it also affects things like Party Chats.
Currently D11 are taking many attempts to patch it on the test branch.
Also working on a fake wall fix.
Scientists shoot at the correct speed. If they're shooting fast at the end of monthly wipe it's a tik rate bug that'll be fixed with monthly wipe.
There's 8 years of development between console and pc. They are not the same and should never be compared.
Pc are getting an attack heli because they have a much larger development team and have been working on it forever. PC's have a way faster render rate and even still have issues rendering when flying minis.
They've fixed way more then half the bugs that's ridiculous. Bugs always happen with development that's true for literally every game. When drones came out on pc for instance you could place ladders on them to make floating ladders.
Facepunch doesn't give a shit about console and never will.
