I generally just farm the ocean 400-700 hqm/hour

The high quality quarry works if you have low grade to power it, the yield isn't that good though. HQM spawns in the green military crates sometimes which is a pretty good method to getting it

hqm quarry is good actually but only if you got it compounded 2,160 HQM is 24 hours of constant use

you can manage to get 24 hours worth in a hour to 90 minutes farming rafts

1,800-4,200 crude a hour is my range I've gotten from least to most in a hour

Run Trainyard. If you have the Blue Keycard, you can get up to 15 Military Crates from the main building and the rest of the area. You will need to be pretty lucky to get them to spawn at the same time, but I've had it before so it's not impossible.

So yeah, Trainyard can give you 5 - 15 Military Crates per run and takes less than 20 minutes. They have Components which recycle into HQM and sometimes have around 20 - 30 HQM in them anyway. For a full 15 crate run you can get 200 or so HQM provided you recycle everything. Hope that helps!
