#Aim and Positioning

Ngl aim training on console is awful. The best thing you can do besides making bad plays and learning from them is to watch good pc rust players preferably solo-duo players for positioning aim is pretty much expierence
Understand the map, before entering a fight ask your self what is the back up plan, always use high ground to your advantage..if your far enough in carry external walls ( i prefer stone) as most don't roam with rockets or explo so then you have built cover for safety
Aim training is just learning each gun, the pattern of em and which you are best with
Put a holo and laser on that thang
If that’s not an option check into some videos on the best sensitivity settings for rust console to make sure you’re dialed in right
W advice
Most important thing in pretty much any fps video game is playing natural cover. Before any fight or even just when roaming always be near natural cover or have high walls. You never want to be in the open or you will just get insta killed. You also want to time when you engage in a fight and when you shoot. If theres a big fight going down try and wait until one side wins and goes to rez a teammate or open a body before letting them know u exist. knowing when and how to execute all of these just gets better with playtime
honestly just play the game and the more hours u clock in the better youll get
Watching streamers isnt gonna be super helpful cause pc rust is an entirely different game and the way they play doesnt really transfer 1:1 to console rust
If you want proper aim training get PTB both aim train servers and builders servers are on 24/7
They in main branch too
We’ll kind of main branch swaps between builders servers and aim train idk when they swap but they don’t have em both at the same time
What helped me learn the guns and helped my pvp was going on a build server on main branch and build a shooting range and put a flame turret at the end and try to land all your shots from different ranges.
I actually tried that and it worked very well for aim, all of the tips I have received have helped very well in different ways so I thank you all
Really? I thought they had both, almost positive they always have aim train
They swapped it for builders when electric came out
