I don't want to beat around the bush for a long time. you are currently working on electronics as we know, but i think i and many other players can't be happier than an update where we see 5km maps with 150-300 slots (some servers are already dead on wipe day). I think the solution is fewer servers, more slots.
not to forget there are servers that have 100 players in the queue

that server flopped tho day it launched hardly anyone touched it i think they would have to do something like close all servers for a week and just have diff pop servers all bps unlocked to get people to play to get feedback at somepoint

It takes a lot more storage up to run bigger maps with more people. Right now, they are working on minimizing storage, so they can add community servers and bigger maps. However, bigger maps will come a lot later than community servers. Most pc servers don’t even have 5km maps.

May not a priority, it’s more an option they have. Reducing servers and adding servers with more slots, bigger maps is a big change at this point and it’s better then electricity bcs when they add electricity pop will cry about bugs way more than over a bigger map

I have 13 years expirence of pc‘s and consoles and I exactly know how they working. 13 years are your lifeline
So when u where born I started too learning this step by step, my idk how to create games but I have knowledge how to build pcs and stuff like that. that's the difference between the two of us

I mean this game is already optimized when u look at the trees… and all the other textures, right ? But there is water under the map and that takes up most of the ram space I think at least
Or the invisible water at launch site, that’s taking the space to even if u can’t see it
This game weight is around 10 gb but working way worse on old gen than „fortinite (over 30gb) or apex (idk)“ but look at the graphic difference and how smooth the game is running (not for everyone)
And this 30gb are taking only the space for download
The recommend ram for Fortnite (on pc) is about 8gb to 16gb
