I feel like its because of all the people complaining about map size so they probably wanted to throw the community some kind of bone. They've been doing performance updates since January though but for some of the complaints in tell the devs id still say they have more to do.

World 2.0 was a significant performance boost on PC. Could be why they have prioritized that. It likely requires larger maps too, since it has a lot of terrain changes. Only the devs know tho. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ive been so in and out on the game since January that I genuinely dont have a full opinion on the performance but from the small amounts of time I have decided to play I havent seen too many issues but i know it varies by player and server as well

Not long ago I know they put out a few surveys asking what people would like and I know the one before the new year began people overwhelmingly voted for performance fixes so I think they are trying but it also doesnt help when things go to ptb and generally nobody is reporting the issues that could be prevented from coming to main if they werent lazy and entitled to the point of saying well its not my job to report this they have to figure it out lol its like well no the actual entire point of test servers is for people to give them feedback

Unlike pc theyre at least looking at possibly adding old recoil as an option for community servers but for me I just knew this game was a port and to not get used to the way anything was because someday it was subject to change. I think itd help if more people understood porting and what that means. There are generally a fair number of players that actually have zero clue what a port is.

Hip firing was ruined by new recoil is dont know anyone thay still commonly hipfires i dont think it ever should've been meta and you definitely play less aggressive with no side sprinting as you basically cant swing someone its also alot harder to do on joy sticks then Kbm becuase kbm just have to hold w to stay sprinting joysticks gotta find the perfect balance
