Am I banned?

• If you can still play PTB but main branch has a big message saying your account is banned, then you're banned.
• If there's no countdown displayed it's a permanent ban.

Why am I banned?

• Discord Mods don't know exactly why as they don't work for D11.
• You can get banned for a wide range of reasons.
• Read the User Agreement & Code of Conduct from the Main Menu under Extras.
• If you're desperate to know the reason, take it up with D11 here.

Surely this is a false ban, how do I appeal it?

• Just because you don't know the reason for your ban, that doesn't automatically mean there isn't one.
• Ban reasons displayed in-game might not match what you were banned for.
• Your ban may be entirely unrelated to any warnings you have received.
• Your ban may not be for something you did recently.
• If the appeal button in game is greyed-out, you can't appeal.
• All reports are manually reviewed by D11.
• All bans are manually executed by D11 (outside of the anti-cheat).
• There are no false bans.

What should I do now?

• Go play another one of the thousands of games on your platform.

It wouldn’t be a visual issue, it would be a server performance issue, instances like that happen when there is a delay between where the server thinks you should be and where you are client side ie on your console, so you could be half way across the map on your screen but if the server is lagging then it could still think you are on the beach, as it catches up with itself the server refreshes the client side information which is what causes that teleporting/rubber banding

I’m playing Rust on the Xbox and every time I join a server it says I’m sleeping and I need to press A to wake up. I keep pressing A and nothing happens however, the controller is clearly connected to the Xbox when I press the Xbox button I can go back to the menu and do other things. Is this a known issue how can I fix it?

Unplug and replug your controller when sleeping might work

Is it every server, or just one?

I tried multiple servers and it never works basically. There was one server. I don’t know how I went to the Xbox home menu and came back to the game and I was awake as if I pressed “A”. At that point, everything seemed to work properly and I could walk around, however, when I tried to collect stone or wood from trees, it did nothing and I would be walking through trees. I haven’t been able to reproduce this. I get stuck in every server on the beach sleeping.

When you say you go to 'Home'. Do you actually quit the game or not? I'd try that if not, in case it's the silly Xbox saved state thing messing you up.

Basically, once I’ve loaded inside a server, no controller input works, except the Xbox button. Then I can press the Xbox button and go to the Xbox home screen. At that point I can select Rust again and come back to the game and I’m still sleeping
