Its a good idea to add skills, but make it to where you can show which ones show up on the quick box since there is so many per egg. I mean the winter ones alone have 8 different skills that could pop depending on the critter that hatches
QPM 3.0.55 now shows exact chance when pet mutators are active

Small thing i noticed
the auto fave for pet skills. When a snowy version of the skill is found it will auto fave even if you dont have that version selected. (ignore the number of pets, I mass hatch XD)
In answer to this though i just thought of something a little more important..
The chances of 1, 2 3 or 4 skills dropping. Not that 4 is easily obtained (I personally have never seen it but its in the code)

Hey Tokyo, when I did the import it's showing the time is off for the moonbinder store hit. It was 12/27, does that mean anything? Could it be a time zone thing?

i can confidently say theres still so much work to do on gemini unfortunately, we are trying to get it out asap but we also want it to be perfect - ironing out every single issue from both mods.
gemini will serve as this lightweight alternative. only the modules/features that you use, will be loaded. (apart from core components which are extremely lightweight)
we havenโt synced up with tokyo yet but i think weโll release the mod once weโve got at least the essential features from both mods merged together, stats, notifs, locker, team loadouts (at least those 4). once that partโs done it should be ready to drop. for info rn the pet loadout is done. it works but it can prob be improved, iโll tweak it depending on feedback. atm iโm working on shop/weather/etc notifs and tokyoโs on the pet stats. on his side itโs kinda rough too cause the stats ui has to stay super easy to understand on mobile, so it adds a lot of difficulty for clarity/visibility/accessibility
its taking a while cause like tokyo said we want something clean that actually works. and since weโre trying to make it as future proof as possible + fully compatible on mobile, we basically gotta rethink all our old code and also redo the mobile interactions so it stays easy to use (smaller screen = more limits) so yeah weโre not really reusing old stuff, weโre rebuilding everything from scratch
might even be worth making a new gemini thread so u guys can help us with display ideas + give feedback on whatโs already done

when I reset stat in dashboard this one will go back to original one where you see proper stat but tulip (follows the track from previous plant u highllight) and cacao (nothing) still not updating properly. when I reset stat the tooltip does not fix the problem..

Hi friends, what do these signify? Which mutations the crop can get? My Sunflowers somehow only have R,D,A (I assume rainbow, dawnlit, amberlit)
variants that you havent logged in the journal for that plant. can be turned off in the journal tab
theres no way to turn it off unfortunately. when i get back ill work on an update for qpm but itll probably be the final one before the new mod comes out
can i monitor how much time do crop boost take to increase the size of my crops ?
the Crop Boosts tab shows how many boosts needed to max each plant type or all plants, and the Trackers tab can show ability proc chances and estimated average times until next proc and how many per hour

nope theyll automatically adjust but with the current implementation, theres a bug where the restocks are sometimes offset by up to 24 hours

I believe it works by reading your profile live like the journal helpers? I play on multiple machines and achievements automatically update across each, also when achievements were first implemented it seemed to grant some automatically based on what I had already done such as seeds planted and whatnot.

I'm having an issue with the journal of the manager not seeming to track my journal correctly. I noticed that it's saying I don't have several of the amberlit entries when I do.
It seems to take a bit to update, usually takes a full day or more. I also noticed this.
I did see that it's right on the individual plant, like the letter match up to what I'm missing
Also my game is crashing whenever I try to use the Pet Hub tool

yes the new mod will be announced publicly and we will try let everyone know where we can
the target scale is just what the code refers to max size as. if something has a target scale of 3.5, its max size is 3.5x its normal weight i believe

pet compare has been HEAVILY reworked. pet compare replaces the pet hub. and lives in the pet teams menus. pet optimisation feature now uses same logic for a more effective but unified system!
Sorry to do this chef, but found a small bug already. In any tracker card, clicking the secondary X removes the content from the card and ~~only a reinstall of QPM fixes.~~refreshing page does bring them back sometimes as well
but this update is still really awesome, thank you for all the time put into it!

sorry, found one more tiny card-related one: when a card is resized to the minimum size possible and customize button clicked, card loses ability to resize or confirm customization settings. Page refresh fixes this every time so not a big deal.

If video doesn't work that's ok, but when I pull up pet tab, then minimize and reopen, the optimizer at least loses it's scroll bar and I can't scroll using mouse wheel either. Also can confirm the update fixed the size. Refreshing the page does fix the missing scroll wheel. Tho I have the opposite problem of I made a window too big and can't reach the resize tool but I feel like that's on me

I can't seem to feed my snail chrysanthemum through the menu as it's not listed or detected even when I have them in my inventory and can feed it the normal way.
Also, I don't generally use pet optimizer much but looking at it today, it's suggestion is that I sell a produce refund capybara because there are 3 better pets available, but the one it lists is a double harvest not crop refund which I only have exactly 3 of, so it seems to be comparing only strengths even though it has a different ability?

it has been significantly improved over the last couple weeks and months, especially on firefox so thank you. Now literally the only time it stutters or frame drops for me is while moving during weather events, rain or snow only ones that noticeable.

Hey, I've just installed the mod, and when placed in the bottom right (for example) the mod menu opens downwards off the bottom of the screen. I have to move the menu bar a little and it kinda snaps to be visibile, but then minimising the bar leaves it near the top of the screen. Also, left in its minimised state, if I go somewhere else in discord, so that the game activity shows in the small viewer in a corner of the app, and then return to Magic Garden, the menu bar has moved to the top left corner, I assume as a result of the menu bar moving to be visible in the small viewer.
Am I missing some setting or something?

I think both option would be nice since the first option you mentioned we might have locked the pet unless you will make it unlock itself when we click sell pet
its possible for QPM to unfavorite your pet intentionally since it already handles favoriting/unfavoriting so really either direction would be quite easy

But some people might want to sell in bulk so they can maximize the pet ability so the second option would be nice too

Ty for the update i quickly found a bug when i press sell and let's say there were 3 pets in that group so i unselect one of them and sell after that trying to sell other pets prompts me that it was sold but it still remains on the pet optimizer
so if you unselect and sell, it doesnt remove the ones that WERE selected when selling from the pet optimizer (but does sell them)?
just an example : first time i tried this feature there were 3 pets in the group

the first time i think it sold the two i selected

so like if you have Rainbow, Frozen, Dawnbound selected it will show you any plant that is missing any of those 3.
Ability to filter for plants that only meet all the criteria selected.
EX: Has Rainbow, Frozen, Dawnbound selected, it will only show plants that have all 3 options.

yeah it doesnt switch to ur pet refund team automatically, you need to do that yourself BEFORE you sell

I know its a kinda weird way of saying it, but I want to be able to see whats NOT mutated in a set. So far from what I have seen testing within garden filters that's not a possible setting.
So like, I want to see what's NOT rainbow yet but has frozen and amber, it has no option for that.
So adding something in that lets us click if we want to see what dose NOT have a mutation it would be awesome.

nah it doesnt have a timer really. since the calculations are automatically calculated through certain formulas to fit all abilities, crop mutation boost comes out like that.

I think I know why. Its because one of yours has gold grant. The sorter places them above all even if their STR is lower

it actually determines which stage of the game ur in and early and start of mid game will prioritise gold/rainbow. rest of mid game and late game prioritises only rainbow. that part needs dialling

im going to take gold granter weight down for all stages of the game, then slightly further for later half of mid and end game.
im going to raise the gold granter weight ONLY if there are multiple gold journal entries remaining + and only when there is less than 3 gold granter pets
for all non granter abilities im going to lower both rainbow and gold granter weight (apart from rbw on time based abilities)

My system is, look at each pet, for each pet search for other pets that have both higher MAX and a non-strict superset of abilities. If the number of pets in the filter is 3 or more mark the current pet as deleteable
using this system, neither of my two pets would have been marked obsolete
i think your system is really cool as a more practical approach, but this filter has the upside of literally NEVER trashing anything that could even potentially have a use
bc then my rbw granter team (which is best for my use case - since im always growing and hatching eggs (the compare feature knows bc it takes a garden snapshot when calculating)) is no longer considered my best team

what im trying to do isnt to make any strategy obsolete, im trying to EXPAND the compare logic so its smarter and can detect the users SPECIFIC needs better
but my system does not suggest "best teams", that is something your system or user discression would be better for

My (non) issue is the optimizer wants me to keep too many pets. Has me keeping 75 or so, so then between plants I'm keeping for completion sake later and all the pets, I can only harvest like 2 crops before having to go sell (in an extreme case) ๐

Pet Optimizer Overhaul
How Pets Are Ranked
1) Family snapshot per pet
For each pet:
- Build compare profile from abilities and strength.
- Map each valid pet and ability to an optimizer family (family is group of tiers (e.g Plant Growth Boost I & II)).
- For each family, keep that pet's best family entry by:
- highest ability tier first
- then higher family score
- Apply family score adjustments:
- time-family uplift from progression stage + synergy
- Gold family adjustment based on Gold preference
Pets with review-required abilities are excluded from ranking competition pools.
2) Specialist mode ranking
- Best Top 3 Pets Per Ability
Inside each family, pets are sorted by:
- Higher family tier
- Higher family score
- Higher max STR
- Higher current STR
- Mutation tie-break (Rainbow highest, then Gold, then none)
- Stable pet ID tie-break
3) Slot Efficiency mode ranking
- Best top 3 pets per-pet-slot for that team/ability
For each pet family anchor:
- Base standing:
0.65 * rankUtility + 0.35 * scoreRatioToLeader
- Add support families:
- best support from other broad roles
- weighted by
0.55,0.30,0.15
- Add bonuses and penalties:
- bonuses capped at

knocked me down to 57 keeping some it thinks I should toss because current strength makes them stronger than some of the higher tiers, time to open all the eggies
I'm not sure if it's still respecting the Protect Pets with Max strength because I had it set to 99 and it still tried to tell me to sell some of my max 100 pets
I will test soon but omg this is so cool
Got down to 60 after hatching 91 eggs (lots of common eggs cause I'm hunting gold snail and rainbow bee still)
but a better total than I started with!

Added Shop Alerts; Pin an item in the Shop Restock window and you will get notified every time that item is in stock, buy it straight from the notification

Added Shop Restock History for all items, easily compare actual restocks vs estimated restocks, as well as accuracy per item

Completely revamped the estimation logic, it now learns off itself a lot more instead of using predefined variables (since the restocks recently have been wild). Also cleared up a lot of confusing metrics in the UI
Fixed:
- Bunch of QOL changes, ability badge normalizations, persistence, hardened shop restock database refreshes.
- Fixed an issue where sprites wouldnt load if pick a pet modal opened too soon

i think that QPM is lagging out my game

tested every mod combo between aries and QPM, and only the combos with QPM make my game lag

@bold forge looks like when there is a mini hiccup in the server and the ping from the game disappears and when you press buy all the notification says it bought and it disappears but it has not actually buy it
Maybe make a check for if it has actually bought it or not and the notification should disappear after the check has been made
