#Functionality request: Pet feeding

Could you please change the FEED button to open a filtered inventory of the crops i can feed the specific pet? Maybe dont open inventory if I have only 1 crop in inventory I can feed (i often have just 1 tulip my my starving bee, just auto select that tulip for me, please), but if I have 2 separate types of crop or I have 1 frozen and 1 regular crop, give me the inventory to choose from?

Having to open and look through my inventory every time is painful.
My pets get fed EXPENSIVE stuff by accident.

Please, my pets DIE ON ME before I can find the crop sometimes. 🙁

@open stag Wasn’t doing much, and your idea was cool, so I built it straight into the game. If you’re on PC, you can use it with Arie’s mod. #1420262964510064695

It basically does what you suggested:

  • Feed from inventory button → opens your inventory with the crops compatible for that pet. Pick one and the pet gets fed automatically. The inventory auto-closes when there are no compatible crops left or the pet hits 100%.
  • Instant Feed button → feeds the pet with the first compatible, non-favorited crop in your inventory.
