**Antifreeze** in tools

For us aesthetic gardeners, it would be nice to be able to prevent certain plants from becoming weathered. I don't love how muted some of the colors look when the plants are frozen. I like to keep jumbo melons and mushrooms and aloe in my garden for aesthetics, however i don't have room in my inventory to pot those things during weather events and such. I wonder about some sort of function or tool to prevent freezing?

Also just a funny note: did anyone else REALLY overthink this game the first day? I worried certain plants would sell for more frozen and some would sell for less depending on the weather they tolerate LOL. (I also worried that bamboo would spread to other squares after you planted it becaue im traumatized from real life bamboo)

I thought bamboo would do this too LOL and I thought my crops freezing over before I could harvest them would be disastrous. It’s all so beautifully counterintuitive in the best way lolol

lol it creates underground root systems that sprawl up to miles. And then new bamboo shoots grow from those mazes of root systems. Once bamboo is planted outside in a place where it thrives it is very difficult to remove.

even chopping up the roots if a large enough root section remains it will still grow new stalks of bamboo.

we have bamboo in our back yard that a previous owner left in the thin nursery pots outside.

the roots broke through the nursery pots and established themselves

we now have forest.

our dog helps us pull up the fresh shoots in the spring and we make insect hotels and use the cut stalks to prop up other plants in our yard and garden haha
