Getting the Journal to 100% is a tough but achievable challenge for Crops, it will take a lot of time, but is quite viable.
Doing the same for Pets is a whole different story:
Getting all the max size and especially gold/ rainbow variants of all the mythical Pets and especially for divine or even Celestial Pets that may be released eventually is just not possible: The money required goes way into Trillions even with all the boost abilities that are available and that is not even the difficult part: Actually buying all these eggs is even more limiting.

So maybe there should be other goals for the Pet section of the Journal, like finding all the different abilities?

I agree with this.

There is not enough clear information on how to even get max size to begin with.

I know the wiki is a work in progress, but I'm struggling with trying to figure out the best ways to get the pet journal entries.

I know there's only 4 for each pet, but as Knower just said, the cost is unachievable for many, not to mention the times that the eggs are even available.

I think a good compromise would be to have the eggs be refreshed a lot faster to match the speed that the tools and crops are.

As well as making the way the pet abilities work, be a bit more clear and also not have to be ONLY when hatched.
(Since the crops can get the wet/chilled/frozen/gold/rainbow/max size, any time after the crop is fully harvested.)

Like I said, I think the problem is that the eggs aren't frequent enough, and the fact that there's only the ONE chance for each pet to qualify.

(Also yeah, I agree that it's viable, since I mentioned in Discuss I just need to try and get more Goats lol)

So the other thing they should do is have some special pet journal that keeps the pets in a seperate place. I hate that it shares the same backpack with EVERYTHING. Its a mess. In World of Warcraft they have a seperate Pet Journal for all the 100s of pets that you would get. Maybe this is also a good idea to help better organize other things.
