Explain how to get certain modifiers since no wiki

Ive been trying to grow giant Crops with no success and no clue if its event based like snow and rain or is it purely luck. after a lot of crops and big ones I have not been able to access that journal entry, also there must be a way after you get an animal to know what effect they can give and from what lvl to what lvl trhey can show up

Bees are from the common egg (5%) that can increase the size of your crops :)
To see what effect/s a pet gives me, I just swap it out with one of my current ones and read the boosts, then decide whether or not I want to use or sell. Rain and snow does not grow your crops, just gives wet/chilled and then eventually frozen. Size is pure luck but only the bee as far as I know can actually increase the size. I am also struggling with the journal entry though so I feel you

may i ask does selling while theres snow or rain makes the price of the plant higher?

Unfortunately no, they only sell for higher with friendship bonus, sell bonus, or if the plant is wet/chilled/frozen(best one, 10x value). These effects arent garunteed for all plants, its random whether it'll apply to your plant during weather events.
