Discord deleted my message for some reason so trying again. Enemies aren't noticing the player (as can be seen, one goes towards the player right away, the other takes it time), and hits are not inflicting damage 100% of times as it should.
At the same time, every player attack inflicts damage to itself. Any hints or help would be appreciated! I'm pretty sure is something very simple I'm not spotting, I feel is not code as I triple-check everything

they appear to be different enemies, are they both a child class or was one duplicated to create an enemy? if one was duplicated, any changes to the combat / chase / attack / etc ranges would not transfer over to the other enemy. so do they both have the same values for their ranges set?
@steep moth these are child of the BaseEnemy, and I created their unique Anim BP and Montages. Checked all their values are good. They're still a bit delayed but I managed to fix that a bit.
I think my major issue now is the player hitting it self with every attack
Have you added the player character to the actors to ignore?
