I am a bot this message was send automatically please ignore me if i wasn't helpful!
that exit code is an out of memory error, pretty sure no one knows how to fix it
makes sense caz my game froze just before that happened
but what causes my game to run out of ram?
i put it to 4gbs
also isnt there a way to apply a "ram lock"
could be a poorly made mod
these things are hard to debug without a profiler or something like that
@elfin elk uploaded a log,
- Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_321
- Forge 11.15.1.2318 on 1.8.9
- OptiFine M5
Recommendations:
- Unless you know what you're doing, modifying your JVM args could have unintended side effects. It's best to use the defaults.
the thing is that
90% of the time it isnt because of no memory
so 90% of the time we dont know why it does that?
pretty much
Does it happen often or rarely?
its not
somewhat often
happens on vanilla too
could it be a vram issue as i did not get this exitcode
Well
before i got a gpu
Then you could somewhat trial and error it
Just remove random mods and see if it still happens
Remove all mods maybe
but as rat said
Then maybe blame and complain to Minecraft?
well i mean there wont be a point because the version is 1.8.9 and if they were to patch this "bug" they would do it to the newer versions
Well you could try finding some super old bug report of it
probably
anyways sorry for bothering you guys with the same bug again
and thanks for the help
do you think installing a different distribution of java would help?
yes maybe?
why is that, i believe this is strongly a mods issue
because of "too many mods"?
taking up too much ram?
maybe?
You said it also happens in vanilla tho
i didnt, rat did
Or Atleast agreed to them
somewhat
anyways what kind
Please send a screenshot of your mod folder so we can help find the problem

probably not "too many mods"
is there a file called hsperror something along those lines
will check
hs_err_pid ?
yeah that
ok multimc closed the logs
aight
Like use the search feature
win7 gaming
8.1
i blame skyblockextras
close enough
me too
why
True
Just get 7 or 10
too late to upgrade to 10 for free and keep your product key
i enjoy the middle ground
Maybe that'll fix it? Who knows it's worth a try
eh maybe, probably not though
well i am probably not the only one dealing with this exitcode so
what so interesting about hs_err_pid
idk
it provides info about when the java virtual machine crashes
ah
the problem here is that it doesnt exactly crash
more like freezes for a stupid amount of time
but i have to end up "killing" it
why didn't you say that from the beginning
I still don't know a fix but that would've been useful info
did you ever install streamlabs obs
you ever use any cheats?
wait skyblock related or anarchy related
well i dont have any anarchy related mods / clients in the multimc directory
