im on a laptop

and

most recent drivers

idk if its defaulting to integrated graphics

if i disable them i cant launch

If you have problems with FPS drop, make sure you have these mods installed:
Optifine:

• Windows Download: https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.8.9_HD_U_M5.jar
• Mac Download: https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=preview_OptiFine_1.8.9_HD_U_M6_pre2.jar

Patcher: https://sk1er.club/mods/patcher (Dont forget to turn on HUDCaching in /patcher)

If you still have problem with fps type: fire tag fpssettings

Use VBOS: ON
Smart Animations: ON
Render Regions: ON
Smooth FPS: OFF
Smooth World: OFF
Fast Render: OFF (for mods that need it off)
Fast Math: OFF (since this breaks things more than it helps)
/patcher > Search HUDCaching > enable it
