Yeah thought of it as overkill but why would it cause me more lag? Is it a mod that is just less compatible with more GB Ram?

Java has to manage all that extra ram

Basically it is harder to look after 100 cats instead of 1 cat

Fair, so you'd advice like 4gb? I'd prefer to have Minecraft on for 12+ hours so I assumed 2gb would not be enough

But as I mentioned it should not be a performance issue on my side if I can run all the heaviest modpacks available but when I use 3 mods on Hypixel it gets a stroke when in a certain point in Dungeons,

Update your dungeons mod, would kinda make sense if it only happens inside a dungeon
