I have something showing as a dupe however the other items on the AH dont have matching IDS

as in I used sbe dev mode to check the item IDS, and i checked all the same items and none matched my ID

so how accurate is the mod at detecting dupes? cos i dont wanna void my item if theres a chance theres a mistake with the mod as im sure you can appreciate

There is no mod or anything else that could be more accurate. bcs everything will use the same method

yeh i get you, im not bothered if theres a better option. All i wanna know is, is it 100% or is there a chance its not duped? so i can decide what to do with the item

like what do you wanna hear????? Knowing dupe items isnt a test in school. Skytils checks the entire ah and then see if there is a part of the same uuid

wouldnt a duped item have the exact same id, being that it is duped.. not a part of it. Like im just trying to understand how the mod works so I can get my head round the risk

yeh thats my thinking, so owning a 'duped' item with just the part of the ID being the same is not really a risk to players?

no i understand that, like i said im just trying to figure out how much weight to put on the mod showing it as duped thats all! 🙂
