this is in /st help which is probably what you're looking for (/glintcustomize override <on/off/clear/clearall>)

if you want to remove it from an item that has it, /glintcustomize override off, if you want to remove it from an item that got changed by skytils /glintcustomize override clear

Yeah I can't reproduce this so I would just close the game and temporarily move the /config/skytils folder away
