?
when i open launcher nothing happens for some reason, i have lunar client installed if that means anything
use multimc or something
whats that?
actually useful launcher for modded mc
install it, create a new 1.8.9 instance, go to edit instance, click install forge, go to mods, add mods
link account in top right
press launch
done
you can move config files over as well if you want
loader mods?
and i can just drag and drop my mod folder aswell as my config folder?
yep
cool ill give it a try if it doesnt work ill let you know
none of my mods loaded? even tho they are in the file
take them out of the mods folder and just put them in
and the config folder goes one directory up
and if you click on version
sorry what?
do you have forge installed
in that mods folder
take the stuff out and move it into .minecraft/mods
and move the config folder into .minecraft
there isnt a mod folder should i just create one?
you're in it
put all the jar files in there
done now where do i put the config again?
if you go to the mods tab
press view config folder
then take everything out of the old config folder
and put it in there
so it looks something like this
so delete these?
keep that stuff
or replace t
it
with the new stuff
also from your defualt mc
take these two files
and copy them over
they have your mc settings
and i put those in config?
those two go in your .minecraft folder
should do
ill ping you if anything comes up thanks for being a big help 🙂
its stuck on not responding while loading..??

Windows: Hit Windows Key + R and type in %appdata%. Open the .minecraft folder.
Mac: On the bar at the top of your screen in Finder, click Go, then click Go to Folder and type ~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft, then hit enter.
Linux: .minecraft is located in your home folder. ~/.minecraft
Open your Minecraft folder and send the file called latest or latest.log from .minecraft/logs.

one quikc question
any more mods u suggest?
Hi everyone
I haven't seen a proper guide to mods recently, so I decided I might as well make one.
All of these mods will be for Forge 1.8.9.
For higher game versions, see THREAD 1 THREAD 2
For an all in one solution that isn't a closed source client, see Skyclient
If you spot any errors...
definitely don't get everything on there tho
just stuff you need
cool thanks a lot again
